movies on health & wellbeing

Watching a plot or turning the page or nowadays tapping or scrolling takes us to places and experiences we may not have had and for better or worse, in speaking of characters and their many decisions. These stories relate to our lives in degrees that are more or less or credibly both; so, see them we will while measuring our choices, and if it’s info that matters: we’ll hoover it up to implement change or regulate something but in the end, we’re never the same once a story is seen.
An old quote often attributed to the ancient Greek philosopher, Heraclitus, says: ‘No man ever steps into the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man.’ Well, the same might be true when it comes to reading our books and watching our films. Even in turning back just a few pages or a handful of minutes, you’re not the same person who saw it before. Interim leaves or scenes informed, explored and transformed your mind leaving you richer and fuller with more in store.

So, these narratives exploring the human condition and our physical and mental health, can change you in what feels like glacial time, but it’s the paradigm shift that makes it worthwhile. A volcano of knowledge as the ideas flow while turning old thoughts in nothing but stone. There are so many things defining sheer beauty but growth of the mind is in a class of its own and where it might take you is just part of the pleasure, with meandering trips and journeys afar. Maybe, this is why we love plots so much. A visual and auditorial encounter drawing us into another world as we secretly assess our own lives, while probing for answers.
